today, i’m compelled to bring up that Hamburg isn’t inevitably just another word for that ugly side of the cold season (as illustrated in the winter pics) – Hamburg can also be like that:

we’re enjoying a fantastic hot sunny weather since the end of june – actually since the seven sleepers day, so we’re expecting more sunny days during the next time. it has been a couple of years since we didn’t got the chance of many weeks of sun and heat in a row.

last week-end, we took the opportunity of the beautiful summer weather, grabbed the bikes, crossed the Elbe river with the ferry and went for a trip on the countryside to visit a good friend in Buxtehude.
