/ˈwɛlkəm/ [interjection] exclamation of kindly greeting, Middle English, alteration (influenced by wel, well) of Old English wilcuma (from Anglo-Saxon wilcumian = German be-willkommnen), "welcome guest," lit. "one whose coming is in accord with another's will".

website

/ˈwɛbˌsaɪt/ [noun] (or Web site) place on the World Wide Web, set of interconnected webpages, usually including a homepage, generally located on the same server, viewable through browsers by accessing a domain name over the Internet and maintained as a collection of information by a person, group, or organization.
